Professional Learning Institute Description: Register Today

The AISA Physical Education Institute offers dynamic opportunities for physical education teachers to lead, collaborate, and share their expertise. Featuring keynote presentations and interactive breakout sessions, delegates will engage deeply with colleagues, contributing their insights while learning from one another. Specifically, a “teachers teaching teachers” approach will be used, with attendees leading sessions and sharing their ideas and expertise with colleagues. Attendees will leave equipped with fresh ideas, practical resources, and a commitment to applying and sharing best practices. Most importantly, they will build a supportive network of educators who empower each other to innovate and excel well beyond the Institute.

This institute aims to empower physical educators with meaningful professional growth opportunities by sharing emerging practices, gaining new insights, and building skills to meet the evolving needs.

As a result of participating at this institute, attendees can expect to:

  • Attendees will explore innovative approaches and acquire actionable strategies to improve student engagement and learning outcomes

  • Share and learn at least two strategies, informally or formally, during the Institute

  • Collaborate with fellow educators to co-develop an innovative practice or resource that can be implemented immediately in their programs

  • Commit to experimenting with one new approach learned from a colleague and reflect on its impact through a shared accountability process
