Something powerful happens when the AISA community comes together

…ideas spark, connections deepen, and new possibilities emerge for our schools. From November 4–8, 2026, educators, leaders, and school professionals from across Africa and beyond will gather in Nairobi for an energizing AISA Annual Conference—five days of learning, connection, and shared purpose from our pre-conferences on Nov 4-5 to the main conference Nov 6-8.

Guided by this year’s theme, Wezesha: Empower Ourselves, Our Students, Our Communities, the conference celebrates the power of educators supporting one another and strengthening the impact we have in our schools and communities. Wezesha speaks to empowerment in action—growing as professionals, lifting one another up, and expanding the opportunities we create for our students.

"Wezesha", a Swahili word that means

to empower or to enable.

Designed for all leaders and educators of all kinds, including dedicated deep dives specifically for business and finance managers, safeguarding leads, counsellors, early years teachers, and those championing learning outside the classroom.
