Mona Hassan is a certified international school business  manager with a diverse career spanning education, humanitarian work, and the corporate sector. Mona is originally  from Sudan and has worked across Sudan, Egypt, and Nigeria, building a reputation as a strategic, values-driven leader with an international perspective.

For the past 14 years, Mona has been serving as a Business Manager in international schools, leading business operations, financial systems, compliance, and strategic planning. She is currently the Business Operations Manager at the American International School of Abuja, Nigeria.

Previously, Mona spent over a decade at Khartoum American School, Sudan with a focus on shaping long-term financial and facilities plans. During the Sudan conflict, she was an integral part of the leadership team leading the school's emergency response and continuity planning.

Mona is also deeply passionate about humanitarian work, serving as a board member in a charitable organization for the past 14 years. She continues to support mission-driven initiatives that create meaningful social impact, particularly in the areas of education and community development.

Outside of her professional work, Mona has a lifelong passion for music and was a proud member of Sudan’s first all-women band. She strongly believes that creativity nurtures the spirit and plays a vital role in empowerment and cultural expression.
