  • (GMT +0:00) Virtual Workshop (map)

Workshop Description: Register Today!

Purposeful Pathways: Deep-Dive Learning Month : Teaching & Learning

Session Four: Inclusive curriculum: Co-Constructing Inquiry

How can we ensure that learners feel 'seen' in the curriculum?

In this short workshop, we will explore and discuss strategies for building an inclusive unit - bring a unit to guide your reflection and use for practical implementation of our discussion. Through co-constructing unit questions and building the unit collaboratively together during the finding out / engage / investigating phase, teachers can build a more inclusive curriculum where students have a voice in agency about the content and case studies, allowing them to feel included and seen in the curriculum.

As a result of attending this workshops you can expect to have:

  • Strategies and thinking routines for co constructing curriculum

  • Understand how opinion, experiential and discussion based strategies build inclusive curriculum

  • Develop inquiry questions: Individual, Local and Global Lenses
