Student Scholarships and Award Opportunities

AISA offers awards to students within the network of full member schools for exemplary activities and personal traits that characterise the values of the association.

AISA Awards are increasingly being recognized internationally and are a great addition to a student's college or university application.

The following student awards are given by AISA. Click on the link for more information on how to apply for each individual award and for information on past winners.

1.   AISA AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE

AISA established the AISA Award for Excellence in 2008 as a way of recognising and rewarding the achievements of outstanding students within the AISA network. Successful nominees are students who have attained high academic results, but just as importantly, and whose character exemplifies the association’s values.

2.   AISA SERVICE AWARDS

The AISA Service Awards are given to an outstanding student or group of students who are involved in a successful community service project in an AISA full member school. The awards celebrate and reward excellence and creative problem-solving in service. It also provides the member school with some financial support to help sustain projects that demonstrate the ability to address legitimate community needs.

Due to the growing popularity of the award, there are now two different award categories:

  1. Outstanding Service Project: There will be a Grand Prize of US$5,000 and three US$2,500 prizes awarded to a school project/group to enable them to develop or grow a community service project.

  2. Student Service Leader: Up to five US$1,500 awards will be granted to a school in recognition of a student or a group of students who demonstrate their service and commitment to the community.
