Become an AISA Individual Member

AISA is excited to announce that due to overwhelming demand, Individual Membership is now available to elementary and/or secondary school educators and co-professionals currently employed in accredited international schools that are not AISA members. This includes individuals from accredited international schools outside of Africa.

Individual Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following attributes: 

  1. Educators holding an internationally recognised teaching qualification that enables them to teach worldwide, or Co-professionals holding an internationally recognised qualification in their area of expertise.
  2. Teach an internationally recognised curriculum (eg. IB, American or British curriculum)
  3. Demonstrate a personal experience in an international school setting and a commitment to international-mindedness and intercultural competence

Individual Member Application Process

  1. Complete the online member application form
  2. AISA will confirm your eligibility.
  3. If successful, AISA will invoice you for the non-refundable US$50 membership dues.
  4. Normally, Individual Membership dues will be paid in conjunction with the Registration Fees for an AISA Professional Learning event.
  5. Note that AISA does not offer partial or prorated annual subscriptions. Payment of the annual membership dues is for the entire membership year from July 1st – to June 30th.
