Scholarships Opportunities at AISA for Administrators
The PTC professional development opportunities in 2010 include
- 12 Essential Skills and Advanced courses in our regular summer sessions in London and Miami
- 7-8 Teacher Training Center (TTC) courses, specifically for int'l school teachers.
- New courses and certificate programs for counselors (CTC) and business leaders (BTC)
- On-site consulting and training, tailored to your school
Regional workshops
Each year AISA awards scholarships to teachers or administrators in a full member AISA school who are attending a Principals' Training Centre (PTC) Course or the Teachers' Training Centre (TTC) Course respectively.
Selection is made at the Spring AISA board meeting and notification
is sent to applicants immediately following that meeting.
AISA offers six $500 scholarships each year to teachers
in a full-member AISA school  who are attending a TTC course.
Criteria for selection include:
- Tenure in AISA schools;
- Previous AISA involvement on the part of the individual;
- Previous TTC attendance (not required);
- Strength of supervisor’s recommendation.
In order to be considered, the candidate must be returning
to an AISA school. Applications are due by March 30th. Selection is made at the Spring AISA board meeting and notification
is sent to applicants immediately following that meeting.
