This October, AISA is holding its annual conference in Nairobi, Kenya with the following events:


AISA School Leaders' Retreat
October 14-16, 2011

AISA will hold the  All Africa School Leaders’ Retreat  in Nairobi Kenya on October 14-16, 2011 at the InterContinental Hotel . This will be a holistic two day programme dedicated to addressing the personal & professional development needs of administrators in the AISA region. Heads of School, Principals & Board Members are encouraged to attend in teams.


All-Africa Educators' Conference
October 16-19, 2011

AISA will hold the  All Africa Educators’ Conference  at the International School of Kenya in Nairobi Kenya on October 16-19, 2011 in Nairobi, Kenya. During the Educators’ Conference there will be workshops and institutes targeting both administrators and teachers.

AISA invited delegates to submit proposals to present 1-hour workshops during this conference. The following are the selected participant-led workshops at AISA 2011:

 


All-Africa Business Managers' Institute
October 16-19, 2011

AISA will hold the  All Africa Business Managers’ Institute  at the International School of Kenya in Nairobi Kenya on October 16-19, 2011 in Nairobi, Kenya. This will run concurrently with the Educators' Conference and will have workshops and institutes targeting business managers and heads of schools.

AISA will be inviting delegates to submit proposals to present 60-Minute workshops during this institute. Click here to submit a proposal


Post Conference Institutes
October 20-22, 2011

The All Africa Educators’ Conference will be followed by a Post-conference strand. The following institutes will be offered:


Opportunities for Business Associates

Many of our Associate Members also attend conference and often exhibit their products and services for teachers and administrators. Some also conduct very popular workshops in their areas of expertise. Click here for more information for exhibitors as well as sponsorship opportunities.


Social Events and Networking

At each of the above events there are also many social events planned, including the opening reception, the craft fair, and the final gala celebration which lasts into the early hours of the morning. Participants at AISA 2011 will have an opportunity to meet their colleagues from across the continent on a professional and social level.
