Delegate Registration

The AISA 2012 registration process is as follows:

1. Submission of Registration

You submit your registration online. Click here to register. All delegates must be registered for the conference via the online registration system without exception. Registration closed on September 27, 2012 16:00 EAT(GMT+0300). 

2. Payment

Once your registration is received and processed, an invoice covering your registration fees will be issued to your institution (for AISA members) or to the registered individual (Non-Members). This will include payment information.

3. Selection of Workshops and Institutes

Once payment is received, you will be invited to select the workshops and institutes that you would like to participate in during the conference. AISA 2012 has over 120 workshops and institutes to choose from. You will also be invited to opt into social events like the Gala Dinner. The selection process opens on August 15, 2012 00:00 EAT (GMT+0300) and closes on October 15, 2012 16:00 EAT (GMT+3). After closure, changes can only be made at the secretariat which will be set up at the conference venue.

** Confirmation on whether the MAP training will go ahead or not will be provided on September 21st. The decision depends on minimun number of registered participants, so register now.

Important Deadline Dates

  • Early Bird Deadline: August 31, 2012 23:00 EAT (GMT+0300)
  • Fees for Early Bird Registrations MUST be received by AISA before August 31, 2012 23:00 EAT (GMT+0300)
  • Registration of delegates Closed on September 27, 2012 16:00 EAT(GMT+0300)

 

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation received in writing before September 16, 2012 23:00 EAT(GMT+0300) is eligible for a refund, less a $25 administration fee.

Refunds will NOT be issued for cancellations after September 16, 2012 23:00 EAT(GMT+0300).

A conference participant who submits a registration form WITHOUT PAYMENT and does not attend the conference WILL STILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY since AISA has to finalize numbers by October 1st, 2012 and has to pay for participants regardless of whether they attend or not.

AISA regrets there can be no exceptions to this policy.

 

Code of Conduct for AISA Sponsored Events

All participants at AISA sponsored events are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, honesty and integrity, while conforming to high moral and ethical standards. Such conduct shall be reasonable and transparent and shall be perceived to be so by third parties. Every AISA participant, including AISA staff, shall exhibit culturally appropriate behaviour in the country where the AISA sponsored event is taking place.

If a violation of this code is reported and the AISA Board determines that the complaint is valid, the Board may take appropriate actions which could include reports to employers, banning from future AISA sponsored events, or other actions as appropriate.
