Biography
Larry joined Follett in 1993, after working 10 years as assistant director of a public library in Kansas, USA. Larry has helped educators and librarians throughout the world by providing training on topics such as installation of software, making proper choices on options, patron data input, collection development and MARC Cataloguing. Larry has worked with schools, colleges, and public libraries in over 46 states throughout the US and over 30 countries internationally.

During this educational workshop you'll learn how to better manage your collection with helpful tools like Titlewave and Titlewise; learn the latest on digital content: what's new, how to start a eContent collection, and how to add digital resources to Destiny Library Manager. This is a collaborative hands-on session. Bring your laptop and be ready to learn helpful ideas from peer librarians and Follett's educational expert, Larry Gilbert a.k.a "The Destiny Doctor". [NOTE: ATTENDEES NEED TO BRING THEIR LAPTOPS].
Objective Empower librarians with necessary information, educational resources and peer advice that will help them improve the management of their school library.
