There are a wealth of tools, utilities, plug-ins and other handy little pieces of technology that make life easier on the web. Not only do they save you time and energy, they often they are not expensive—in fact, many are free! Discover existing and emerging time saving technology made for the web and mobile applications, including freeware, safety tips, keeping “it” in the cloud and webmaster tools.
We will also cover using smart phones for sharing, collaborating, editing and teaching, particularly with photos and video. This includes tricks for designing mobile sites and "mash-up" pages, which pull from social media. We will teach you how you can use smart phones to create content from multiple stakeholders in your community
It is no longer about just creating a website – but about creating global communities where all technology comes together, making it easier for teachers, parents and students and alumni to communicate and learn together.
