AISA 2010 Educators' Conference
Nairobi, Kenya (October 17-20)
In 2010 AISA will change the format of our conferences to better serve the needs of our members.
On 15-17 October, 2010 AISA will hold an All Africa School Leaders’ Retreat in Nairobi Kenya. This will be a holistic two day programme dedicated to addressing the personal & professional development needs of administrators in the AISA region as identified by the participants.
Then immediately following the above, on October 17-20, AISA will host the All Africa Educators’ Conference also in Nairobi, Kenya. During the Educators’ Conference there will be workshops and institutes targeting both administrators and teachers.
The All Africa Educators’ Conference may be followed by a Post-conference strand that is organized either by AISA or in conjunction with one of its members
There are many social events planned, including the opening reception, the craft fair, and the final gala celebration which lasts into the wee hours of the morning. Educators have a real opportunity to meet their colleagues from throughout the continent on a professional and social level.
Many of our Business Associate members also attend conference and often exhibit their products and services for teachers and administrators, as well as conduct workshops in their areas of expertise
