The AISA Educators Conference is the best investment your school can make in the development of your educators in the pursuit of improving student outcomes.
The AEC brings together a vibrant community of international educators from AISA member schools making it a truly unique opportunity to collaborate, be inspired by peer educators and gain insight into new practice.
With a wide range of expertise leading professional learning in a diverse range of areas, the AEC2017 has learning opportunities for all educators regardless of the age group or subject area you work in.
Building on the success of the AEC2016, delegates will be able to choose two institutes from a selection of 16, allowing for in-depth exploration and skills development.
The nine focus areas of the AEC2017 include:
There are a number of ways that you can get involved and get connected at the AEC2017. Here are just a few:
The IPS is an ideal way for you to showcase the innovative and exemplary practice taking place at your school. These 45 minute sessions are by our AISA Educators for our AISA Educators. The IPS was a great success last year with delegates expressing that they wanted more of them so get in your Expression of Interest by September 1st.
Pack your dancing shoes for a fun night of dinner and dancing with your new AISA buddies at the annual AISA Gala Dinner. Whether wearing your finest or representing your nation in your country's national dress, you are sure to have a fun night that will be a highlight of your AEC2017 experience.
Tickets are US$65 and can be purchased when you register on eTouches or when you arrive. Tickets are limited so to avoid disappointment we do advice pre-purchase of Gala tickets.
A new feature of the AISA Educators Conference are the wellbeing sessions scheduled for Sunday and Monday afternoon. Why not come and have a go at some yoga or try a guided meditation? We know that the biggest asset that you bring to the classroom is you! These sessions are just a reminder that we want you to take care of your own mental health and wellbeing.
Don't miss your opportunity to share your thoughts on the AEC; what you enjoyed, what you want more of and ideas we should consider for the future. The Closing Plenary is designed to help you reflect and consider the next steps you need to take as you head back to school. But it also provides useful feedback to AISA on how we can continue to make your conference experience even better.
